The gorgeous Shakira will be performing Waka Waka (This Time for Africa) at the closing ceremonies of the World Cup on Sunday.She will be joined by Freshlyground who created the official World Cup video prior to the start of the games.I guess this brings everything around full circle since "Waka Waka" was performed by Shakira and Freshlyground back on June 10 at the 2010 FIFA World Cup Kick-Off concert in Soweto.The original video has been viewed over 7 million times (yes, 7 MILLION TIMES!) on YouTube.It's no Hips Don't Lie, but hey, people seem to like it.In case you missed it, here it is....Next up for Shakira is her English and Spanish follow up album to She Wolf, El Sol, coming out in September of 2010.

Yes, this is my long overdue Christina Hendricks entry.Of course most of you know her as Joan Holloway in the AMC cable television series Mad Men.But I first noticed her in Joss Whedon's Firefly as the space con-artist Saffron, Bridget and Yolanda.Or as Mal (not so lovingly) called her, "YoSaffBridge".And then as Olivia Canton on another of my favorite (and cancelled) shows, NBC's Life.Christina was born on May 3, 1975 in Knoxville, Tennessee, and then her family moved to Twin Falls, Idaho.She started acting early on in high school plays, local community theater and Junior Musical Playhouse productions.Her screen acting debut was in the 1999 TV movie Sorority.She followed this with the role of Rhiannon on the MTV anthology series Undressed.Then came a reoccurring role on the Showtime series Beggars and Choosers, followed by appearances on many shows (Firefly, Angel.
